Lom Velka Amerika is a fascinating place near Prague that is worth visiting. This limestone quarry, about 800 meters long, 200 meters wide, and up to 100 meters deep, is flooded with crystal-clear water, and there are two interconnected lakes at the bottom. Although access to the quarry is prohibited, you can safely admire it from the lookout point right by the parking lot or from the paths leading around it.

In the vicinity of the quarries, you can visit the Small Fortress Museum of Czechoslovak Fortification from 1937 and sit in the café garden.
