What can you do in 10 hours? Get inspired by our tip for a trip in the Czech Republic.
First stop – Poděbrady
Start in the spa town of Poděbrady, where you can’t miss the beautiful spa park. For a tasty lunch, we recommend Café Olivier, and then enjoy fresh coffee and dessert at Vilém’s Bakery. Take a walk along the banks of the Labe River and don’t forget to try warm spa wafers before you leave.
Second stop – Karlova Koruna Castle
Next, visit the Karlova Koruna castle park in the town of Chlumec nad Cidlinou. Enjoy a walk in the park and discover the mysterious figures you might encounter, such as the Linden Fairy or the Oak Elf.
Third stop – Kutná Hora
The final stop is in the historic town of Kutná Hora. Before heading here, you can visit the National Stud Farm Kladruby, where you can meet the oldest original Czech horse breed – the Old Kladruber horse. In Kutná Hora itself, don’t forget to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as St. Barbara’s Church, Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the Historical Center of the City, Jesuit College, and the Italian Court. Also, treat yourself to excellent artisanal ice cream from the Kutná Hora Ice Cream Parlor.
Which car to choose?
For the trip, we recommend the Corolla because it’s more comfortable, and you’ll enjoy the highway journey with it more than with the urban Yaris. You won’t go wrong with the spacious C-HR either.
How long is this trip?
You’ll spend approximately 3.5 hours in the car, so you’ll have more than 5 hours to explore new places. The total trip will be about 180 km. With the Fall Trip tariff, you already have 50 km included.
